Waiting to hear back from job interview

Hi, Im just looking for some advice! I did a job interview on Sunday 13th September. It was a one way interview where we were given 7 questions with 1 minute to answer them on a recorded video. I was told in an email they would review answers within 15 working days and get back to us via email.
Im currently on day 13 and still heard nothing. I know its not past the time frame yet, but surely if I had got the job I would've heard back by now?! Would i look impatient emailing already for an update when the 15 working day haven't yet been surpassed.
Am i just overthinking or should I maybe presume I haven't got it?

Don’t chase before the 16th working day (ie Monday). You’ll look like an idiot.

They’ve probably given that timeframe so that they can compare all of the interviews before telling anyone. It doesn’t mean you haven’t got the job because you haven’t heard already.

Thats exactly what my partner keeps saying, I'll definitely leave it until next week to chase 😅

Thank you!! Yeah im hoping thats the case, I always go to worst case scenario and like you said there's a reason they've given such a long time frame in the first place!

Are they coming back with a job offer or a second interview?

They didnt say, they just said outcomes would be delivered via email! I think it may be just that one interview but I could be wrong

UPDATE: I still haven't heard... however I know someone who also applied for the job (they dont know i applied too). She interviewed a few days before I did & found out on Thursday afternoon she hasn't got the job.. so not too sure where I stand now

Ask them on Monday. 🤷🏻‍♀️

sounds like civil service, you could be waiting months if so, check your civil service jobs portal to see if the status of your application has changed.

Update! They got back to me and I was through to the next stage, have since sat the interview & I have been offered the job 😊😊
