I guess it is annual salary minus (365-weekends - bank holidays)

52*2=104 weekend days in a year.
supose 20 days holiday entitlement
& eight bank holidays
So 365-104-20-8=233.

261 or 233, then, depending on how you want to count the holidays!

annual salary divided by 52 (weeks) divided again by the amount of days you work in that week.

Eg. 10,000 divided by 52 = £192.30 per week

If you worked 3 days per week your daily rate would be: £192.30 divided by 3 = £64.10

If you worked 5 days per week your daily rate would be: £38.46

Basic calculation is annual salary/260 (i.e. 52 weeks x 5 days) if you're full time employed as you're paid for bank hols, holiday allowance etc.
