Here it is, a job as an administrator in a school..

Salary £26,824 pro rata

30 hours per week – Term Time Only

Pro Rata to Term Time Working

Could someone work this out (gross, obviously) and show the calculation?

Really appreciated 😀

Do you know what the standard full-time working week is?

Term time is (usually - private schools are less) 38 weeks. Plus some holiday - prob around 4 weeks but that's a guess without calculating it.

So, 42/52 times the salary to get the term time bit.

Then 30/full time hours * number from above to get the reduced hours.

I don't unfortunately, no.

38 weeks with full time hours would be about £21,713 (including 4.09 weeks of holiday allowance)
And assuming full time is 37 hours, 30 hours a week, 38 weeks a year is £17,605

I make it £15893

£26824 converted to term time = divided by 52 weeks x 38 weeks

£19602 converted to part time hours =
Divided by 37hrs x 30hrs

I missed the 4 wks holiday on top. Ignore my earlier post 🤦🏻‍♀️
