Hate being the newbie!!!!

I started a new job last month. A team of about 20 (most similar age to me) who have all worked together for a few years. Obviously, I totally understand that they will gravitate towards each other but I have no idea how to act when they are making plans right in front of me and not inviting me. I am generally quiet until you get to know me so I'm finding it very difficult to settle in when they all have their in jokes and banter and I can't join in on most of it. Any advice?

I'm so sorry. Its tough when you are quiet but you will find your people. Usually work people are not really your type outside of work but I hope you at least make friends when you're in work.

It's hard but honestly it's just being yourself and giving it time. I know that newbie feeling well but also know it passes, just let it be natural and don't push or change yourself to fit in, it's inevitable that they're close rn but they were all new at once point.
