Reference volunteering role

There’s a volunteer role I’m looking at applying for but I only have one reference from work. I know people, have had friends in the past, but only acquaintances now. I work from home so no other connections.

Im not sure what to do?

How old are you, and how many references do you need? Does it specify what kind of references they need to be?

Two references. One from work and then a personal reference.

Is there nobody you can ask for a personal reference? No friends at all? No colleagues? I know you work from home but do you not work with or collaborate with anyone at all? Depending on your age potentially a former teacher?
