Do I need a blazer for an interview ?

It's a admin type role at the local council. My instinct is yes but I don't have one that fits but have time to look on vinted/charity shop/ borrow from a friend

No, you just need to look smart, but I don't think that requires a blazer/jacket - particularly in this weather. A smart top and skirt/trousers will definitely be sufficient. Good luck with your interview - sending good vibes.

No definitely not, especially if it’s in the next few weeks. You don’t need to wear a blazer in August - it’s been 30 degrees some days and the coming week looks hot too.

A smart dress or top and trousers / skirt will be fine.

Just looked at the weather and it will be 21 degrees and raining.
I have a smart bag big enough for an umbrella.

That's all you need, because even 21 will feel fairly warm. Good plan.
