No HR department

Ive just enquired, and been told that there is no HR department in my company.

When I enquired, I was told that its my boss that does Human resources tasks for the company.

The thing is, I wanted to get advice from HR about things that my boss is doing to abuse me.

But apparantly there is no HR department.

Ive never seen that before in a company

Is that right?

Yes there's no requirement to have a 'proper' HR rep or dept.

ACAS can advise or people on here could if you feel comfortable sharing details 😊

My manager is just abusing me in so many ways, and there is no one i can go to for help.

The things she does to me are shocking

How big is the firm? Could you resign and claim constructive dismissal?

Can you approach their line manager? What type of abuse? Do you have evidence?
