Job offer start date

I had an interview this morning and have since received an offer by email (I missed the call as swimming) In the interview I was asked my notice period which I explained was a month. The offer states a start date in a fortnight. I can't start in under a month. Is this normal? Do I just go back and give the specific date I can start ( a month). I already explained my contract and why its a month. New to this as I was in my previous role for years. Not sure if its just a mistake on their part.

Yep, just go back and explain you have to work your notice as you already told them.

Yes go back and tell them the date you can start on although it is a bit worrying that they put the start date as two weeks time, makes it seem like they weren't listening to you, unless it is a genuine mistake.
