The curve group recruitment

Does anyone have any experience of applying for jobs with them?

I have applied for a job via linked in with them, but I understand it’s a recruitment agency not the end employer. The job description didn’t have any reference to who the actual employer is, I have searched multiple other sites and can’t seem to find this particular job, but stage same job title in different locations with different job descriptions.

It just feels a bit scammy. Is there anything way of finding out who the end employer is? I would rather apply directly if I can. Not a fan of applying via linked in anyway as last time I did I heard nothing but applied via the company website and was contacted immediately.

I guess I’m worried I have put my CV out there now and haven’t opened myself up to being contacted by unsolicited 3rd party’s.

I would put the details you have into ChatGPT. Especially anything about company values or goals that will possibly be published elsewhere.

Good tip thanks will try that

Usually no. Recruitment companies don't want you applying directly as it means they've done the work advertising the role but aren't earning a fee from it.

The ChatGPT thing worked and it managed to find out who the end employer is. Very clever indeed as it was only posted by Curve but some other small details on other ads linked to the employer.

Anyway, it’s not an employer I have any interest in work for, for numerous reasons, which is a moot point as not heard a peep back from them anyway.
