Just that really. This is something I’m keen on doing but was just wondered
if some already in this line of work can give me a bit of info?
I was wondering:
-start up costs
-is this your full time job?
-what are the hours like and do you struggle to find events at all? Do you need to travel far?
-what is work like in the winter?
-how do you find it?

Thankyou!!

There's an FB page called 'catering pitches' or something similar. That might be of help.

You need to put the graft in for this one

I imagine it depends on:
Type of food
Area you are planning to sell in
Where you are planning to sell from / vehicle, market stall
How your food offering might change in the seasons
Other competition around
Planned cost of food, pitch and standstill costs/selling price/ profit margin

Only you can do that research and answer your own questions.

This is one of those “how long is a piece of string” questions. Depends what you’re planning on selling, location, what you’ll be selling from (van, stall etc)

You should check the registering as a food business and food safety pages on your district council's website to get an idea of the ongoing regs around food businesses
