hello, has anyone been through this before? my employer has said I'm at risk of redundancy and I was notified of this when my child was 17 months and so currently now in consultation. However, the consultation period ends shortly after my child turns 18 months, and so they said I won't have protection. I had hoped that I would be protected given I was notified of the redundancy risk while under the protection but my understanding is it doesn't make a difference really given the consultation period ends and decisions will be made after my protection ends. Has anyone been through something similar? thanks
