hoping for some words of wisdom. I work across 2 very different projects; last year there was talk of regrading my role because of the work I was doing but this was not progressed although I did get an pay award for exceptional work. This year has seen a real change in the work I am involved in and I feel that the need for support is more administrator rather than project based for one of my projects. Funding across this area has dropped and I am no longer as involved in a-lot of the workstreams. It feels like the project is in limbo. My LM suggested that adding in admin support may give my role to focus on strategy etc but I cant aee that there is the work or the funds for this. The project lead has said to meto focus on the systems while he takes care of the strategy, where as in previous roles I was very much involved in all areas. I meet with the lead once a week but it is very much going through a list and My lack of involvement means I am losing interest and confidence as I need to feel like I have a role and a purpose. My other project is very busy so very much chalk and cheese. Matrix management means my LM is not involved in my projects. One of the team managers suggested I apply for a told that has just been advertised but my gut says it isn't the right role for me but not sure whether I overthinking this . So I feel really stuck in A rut any words of wisdom?
