Ive worked in nhs for years, recently started a new role within a different trust 3 months ago (no gaps in service). i am on a 6 month probation period. i have 2 questions:
- i currently work 3 days per week. i have a condition which falls under Equality Act that my employment are unaware of. It wpuld help loads with my condition if i cpuld work 1 day from home. Can i request wfh 1 day if im still on probation period? if so how do i go about it?
- I have recently applied for a full time vacancy internally in a hope if offered the role they will be flexible with working office days and home working. will requesting what is in question 1 ruin my chances of getting this full time vacancy as the line manager will be same person? would it be best to wait to find out if i am successful before making any wfh requests?
