Work networking/group activity ideas?

Has anyone done any non cringey staff engagement/networking activities recently they could recommend?

I’ve been tasked with putting together an internal staff away day and need to include some kind of small group activity alongside the panel discussions etc and my mind is blank!

Have you done anything recently that worked/didn’t work?

Pub quiz / picture quiz

Cooking together activity. Ingredients and recipes out. Divided into small groups with a simple recipe each. Some had to make welcome drink. We did marinade for some pork. Others pasta sheets and others the sauce to go with it etc. So limited time actually needed to work. Trained people to help answer question (and finish off food which we didn’t/make it look presentable ;) ). Drinks available. All eat the food finished and made presentable by the external organisers. Great. Relaxed. Low pressure. Talk to new people as work with them but not for too long. Speak to new people as you sit and eat with etc.

I do an icebreaker called Google Feud. Split people into teams. I abhor any kind of organised fun but always get good feedback on this. You can Google it.
