NHS ID checks - what now?

I’m going to my ID check tomorrow for an NHS admin job. References have all come back and I’ve a clear DBS etc., so I think it’s just a waiting game for that to be confirmed.

But what happens now? When do I give my notice in?

Have you been offered the job yet? Where do you need to go for the id check.

Yes, I’ve accepted the conditional offer. I have to visit their offices to give my ID documents in person

You need to wait until all your checks are done and you are given an unconditional offer.

Don't hand you're notice in until you get an unconditional offer letter which should follow shortly after all checks have been done.
