How should I explain this on my CV?

Hi everyone,

About a month ago I handed in my notice, I was deeply unhappy in a new role. There were outdated systems which were not fit for purpose, I was doing the job of about 2/3 people, toxic environments, crazy manager the list goes on! There had been countless people in my role who all left within a short space of time which of course hadn’t been explained to me! Also my company has just been bought out, so come September time there is a high chance I wouldn’t have had a role being the last in.

My previous role I was in for about 3 years and was made redundant. I kept my redundancy for situations like this one.

How should I explain the length of service on my CV? I was only there for 6 months and don’t want to put off future employers. Currently it’s got Impending restructure under my job title. This is the truth and out in the public domain.

Many thanks!

less is more. It was not the role for you. I did something similar and no one batted an eyelid.
