In my job I work with the public. At work for the 3rd time now people a grade higher than me are going on training courses as we all work with the public. I am not invited to some of these training sessions. What is annoying me is there are people on the same grade as me who do the same or similar roles as me and they are being invited.
I should be invited to the training as I need to know about these updates and I also give advice to customers. I am really annoyed because it is clear the company does not value my contributions and yet I train new people up and am expected to share my knowledge.
We had a staff survey yesterday and I mentioned how I keep being excluded but others on the same grade are not. It’s really disheartened me as I am good at my job but people are making sure I can’t learn.
