Hi all
I have always wanted to be Phlebotomist and have got an interview for one in a couple of weeks, I am a recetpionist at the moment and always have been but no feels the time for a change, I will be taking a pay cut as this is only for 25 hours in the NHS and starts at a band 2 role and wondered how long it takes to get to a band 3 and then i presue money would go up. Is it easy to get bank shifts for this role to top up income and after say a year i guess I can move on soemwhere else maybe full time so the salary is better, not sure if this is just a pipe dream and need to forget it and stay where i am, would be £500 a month pay drop at first.
Anyone done/doing this job and any advice would be great.
