Sneaky work colleague

How do you deal with a colleague you know is sneaky and does things to get her own way?

She knows what’s she’s doing if she gets something she doesn’t want to do, putting the task on someone else?

Unless you're prepared to call her out every time she does it then there's nothing you can do about it.
You could raise it to your line manager but you'd need examples, times, dates etc.
In my experience, line managers know exactly what's going on but choose the path of least resistance.
I deal with a sneaky person on a daily basis, I've learnt, when I've raised it that it becomes a "ME" issue, I'm the problem for raising it.
I call my sneaky person the CEO of the Me, Me, Me Movement but only in my head.

I worked with somebody like this… She was my manager. She was incredibly toxic, competitive and jealous and would gossip and lie about people and was constantly trying to pull strings to make herself look good and others look bad. It wore me down badly and I ended up leaving, which was 100% the best decision! I’m sure she’s still exactly the same and I bet she’s been like that for her whole life. I was very clear about my reasons for leaving in my exit interview.

as pp said the big boss knew exactly what this poisonous woman was like but did nothing.
