Interview feedback

I was contacted by a recruitment agency about a role and ended up completing two stages of interview, the 2nd stage taking place last Tuesday.

I followed up with the recruiter two days later (when I was told they’d have a decision) and they were apparently waiting on the employer feedback but would come back to me today.

I’ve not heard back. I’m assuming it’s a no, of course, but I’m disappointed the recruiter hasn’t confirmed either way. It seems disrespectful given the time I’ve taken to prepare for and attend the interviews.

Would you assume it’s a no? Would you get back in contact with the agency or just leave it?

I honestly can’t understand why they wouldn’t let me know directly. It’s courtesy but also better for business, no? If a job comes up with them again, and they’ve ghosted me, I certainly won’t be applying via them.

It's extremely common to be ghosted after an interview these days. My only advice is to get used to it.
