Evening all ,
i have worked in a beautiful private school for 3 years . I am working 4 hrs per day 5 days per week on a permanent term time only contract.
The school is open 35 weeks of the year .
I have an annual salary and this is paid out or divided out evenly every month for 12 months.
my question is ..
Should I receive statutory holiday pay ?
if so how is this normally applied to wages as it doesn’t appear i am being paid any extra for any holiday accrual .
what to do ?
thank you for reading
Bo x

It will already be in the calculation of your salary - probably bringing your wage up to the equivalent of 40 weeks paid (or similar). In a state secondary school open 38 weeks, TTO staff get paid for 44.6

Agree, for TTO contracts it’s normally in the calculation already and taken during the holidays. What does your contract say?

State schools are open 39 weeks but support staff are paid 44 weeks (or more) in 12 monthly payments to cover holiday pay. Check with finance dept.
