I’m currently preparing to start my primary PGCE qts and I’m really interested in hearing from anyone who has completed their training and then secured their first teaching post in an independent school.
How common is it to go straight into the independent sector as an ECT?
Were there any particular things you did during training that helped (e.g. types of placements, extra experience, networking)?
Any advice or personal stories would be hugely appreciated!
