Good morning all,
Back story, I raised a grievance last year against 2 colleagues, I don't want to go into specifics but one was upheld, the other partially upheld, although I was moved to a different location, I continued to work with them, the company value them more as they are higher positions and have allowed one of them to continue to treat me unfairly, leaving me out of important communications, holding me responsible for things out of my scope, you get the picture.
Anyway, I was pulled into the office last week and was told they had hired someone to do my project and they are moving me, the problem is, where they want to move me, is 1.30 hours each way IF all my connections align, it's 1 bus and 3 trains which I don't think is reasonable
There is no mobility or flexibility clause in my contract other than a one liner under my place of work, which is about change for business needs.
They are saying they have.no where else to put me but surely, as a permanent employee, they should have had a conversation with me first before just hiring someone else and not considering the impact on me with the change? There has been no performance related issues or meetings. I have been there for 3 years in September and the other places they could put me are covered by temps and contractors that they refuse to move.
I plan on calling ACAS tomorrow but does anyone have any advice of what I can say in my meeting with HR? Obviously looking for something else but I haven't had much luck yet! Sorry thats long!
