Moving from HR to a hospital setting

I’ve been working in HR and recruitment for 20 years now and am finding myself so burned out. Sat behind a desk every day, facing the same old issues where nothing changes. I’ve done all the qualifications and got to where I want to be in my career - well the highest point anyway.
However I’ve always had a weird fascination with hospitals having spent a lot of time in them as a child. I would love to work somewhere where I can visibly help people, and I think I’d enjoy being somewhere that changes so much like a hospital. I know it’s not glamorous, and I don’t have any relevant qualifications to enable me to work in the medical field, despite for years dreaming of retraining as a midwife. Finances and time just won’t allow it for another 5 years or so…
What jobs could I actually do in a hospital that relate to my background in HR and admin but that I’m possibly qualified for, and that don’t involve sitting behind a desk all day?

My first job role working for the NHS in my local hospital was as a medical lab assistant. I had come from a retail background.
Have a look at the NHS job website and see which roles fit your skills.
