Hello
i interviewed with a company on Tuesday and they said they would get back to me by the end of the week (today) but i have had no word from them.
They have another position advertised as well that I would be interested in. Not as much as the other job but it still matches my skill set as I have done it before. Is it rude to contact the lady in hr that I spoke to to set up the first interview to express my interest in it as well and explain how it would also fit my skill set?

I dont think that would be rude at all, and would just show that you are keen.

Not an HR professional but sometimes a hiring manager. Not rude at all. If there’s an application deadline and a formal process then submit an application for the other role on time, then next week you can contact the hiring manager / hr to explain that your preference would be for the first role but that you love the company so much 😉 you’d also like to be considered for the second.

Thank you ☺️ I sent her an email this morning but still have not had a response so I’m not feeling very hopeful but at least I tried
