Can I get a dbs check passed as my son was 7 year old at the time when he tired running near a road I stop him but a woman report me to police saying I was hitting him when I was not. They come round to check and they said everything was OK after them see my son but still put me on a list now my son is 25 so long-time now can I passed my dbs check if any body can say it would be a help to me

What list? If you were not charged or cautioned it won’t show.

A barred list they said but was not charged. But I did not hit him only stop him from going on a road and it was a old lady who went to the police and she has not have any children of her own

If you were not charged and found guilty then I do not understand what list you are on. If you were not charged and found guilty then it would not show on a DBS.

The DBS do hold the barred list - it’s the old list 99.
Aside form autobar offences it’s a long drawn out process where a person is allowed to make representations so I’m certain you’d have had multiple letters about it over a period of at least a year if anyone had referred you to them.
