Teacher burnt out

I'm really thinking about leaving teaching and I feel the guilt setting in and I'm only in year 1 of ect training. Im an ect who's status is on track to failing and I have support but parts of the support just don't sit write with me like co-planning via email only for them to tell me to not change slides for a lesson and be confusing or delayed meetings about targets. I feel anxious almost every day and plan to hand in my notice on Friday wanting to leave and pursue a different career path. Can I ask that other teachers share they feelings, how did you leave and how did you cope up til the end of the summer term? And what did you do career wise afterwards?

I highly recommend the FB group - Life after teaching. Lots of tips, advice, support and people who get it.

Who are you co-planning with? Job share, year partner or mentor?
Who is setting confusing targets? Your mentor or your induction tutor?

To be honest it's done now, but, the ect lead on the support part. It's the co-planning via email that was confusing and some parts others were told what to do and I wasn't. So I would discover strategies to use inclass too late.
