Hello I am so confused and getting stressed out.
So I work a term time job in a school 39 weeks but have holiday uplift added to pay. So I am paid 43.5 weeks then that's spread across 52 weeks, so I get equal pay each month.
Anyway I am now on maternity leave for the full year. I took extra pay which covered till 18 weeks this was smp plus 50% of wage from 7 - 18 weeks after that just smp. I have asked about acrrued holiday and bank holidays hr manager at the council said yes you accrue but you need to speak to business manager who will work out how much your entitled to. So i spoke to business manager she said oh I don't know how to work that out I will need to speak to hr. I then found out the scholl have now moved to a trust (whole other story that I should have been told) she has now spoken to the trust hr who said I don't accrue anything at all as its in my maternity pay. I am confused by this surely I should at least be getting bank holidays accrued as I technically don't get annual leave. Someone please help.
