Mat leave

Hi am just wondering if any one can help, am currently on maternity leave am due back just after the 15th may and I still haven’t heard back of my manager regarding days I asked for it’s causing me stress the amount of times I have emailed, I receive uc and am wondering if I hand my notice in would I get sanctioned I have a 11 year old and a 7 month old thank you

Why haven’t you phoned your manager?

You wouldn’t get sanctioned by UC no. Can you ask for a meeting with your manager and HR to discuss things formally?

I have spoken with her we have had a teams call etc and still nothing back they said they would let me no and still nothing thank you for your reply

Have you followed up in the last few days to ask for an update?

I would assume if a flexible working request/change of hours/change of days hasn't been confirmed as approved, and you are now less than 8 weeks to returning then you will be returning as per your current contract/hours which were whatever you were on before mat leave.
How long a mat leave have you taken?
