The recommendation has been published.
4% for teachers
3% for NHS staff

government have said there is no money above 2.8% and reading the news this is what we may be offered.

I work for the NHS, the pay rise is already late and Scotland got a much better deal although I don’t know the ins and outs of that deal. I’m on the fence at the moment as many people are struggling so we’ve been offered something and it’s hard to get any appointments in the nhs so the money needs to be spent better, that being said I’ve my own bills to pay ans standard of living to maintain

what do others think of this potential offer - fair or are we heading for strike action again which has it own consequences

I would strike, 3% of nothing g is nothing. I think the whole nation needs to strike, I’m sick of work not paying, it pisses me off I work full time and I’m paid so low I also receive UC. Just pay me a proper wage so I can live, I work 40 hours a week for crying out loud!

It’ll mean about £50 a month think after tax and pension. My train fare alone has gone up by that a month
