Hi,

I am looking to work remotely in the evenings to supplement my income, does anyone have any suggestions? Been on Google for hours but not trusting of some things. 🤯

I know, it's really tricky. I'm inclined to think if something looks too good to be true, it usually is.

Anything with lots of talk of "secrets that no-one else knows" is probably BS.

I follow some genuine looking folk on Tik Tok who buy and re-sell items from charity shops. Looks like hard graft, but they do bring some money in.

The rest of the Tik Tok sellers doing lives all day - I'm not sure that's me.

I don't believe you can, for example, ask AI to create you an image of a flower, then upload it to Etsy and sell it as a digital product? Maybe that's just me showing my age.

Cambly, pay isn’t great, it’s 10 dollars per hour or 12 for the kids one but it’s fairly mindless, it’s speaking to people who are trying to practice their English, just casual conversations

Do you have any specific skills, relating to your job or as a hobby? Thinking something like Fiverr.

I am good at customer service and general computing skills, what’s fiverr?

I would suggest clerking if you like minute taking but make sure you look for jobs that pay well. Not the ones that pay £25 per hour but the ones that pay per meeting.

For example I work for a couple of companies and I work here too and they pay well: https://camdenlearning.org.uk/jobs/clerk-to-governors/ Its around £250 - £300 per meeting. Very easy to do. I can usually make an extra £1k per month in busy times.
