Unmanageable workload but will it be any better elsewhere

I have been back at work just over a year since taking one maternity leave. I work 4 days a week in a senior design based role. Work has ramped up and up over last 6 months, everyone in my team busy. I have been working every evening, every non-working day, this last month. I am very conscientious and care about what I do but the workload is just too much. I just had a weeks leave and felt stressed about work and what I was going back to most of the time. There is a huge pressure to be highly utilised yet also generate big project profits. The culture is not great in terms of working late is a badge of honour but the job is also v flexible in sense of my child is sick, I can catch up on my hours rather than having to take leave etc. Pay is alright. I am also quite established here. But I am fed up with the long hours culture but if I went elsewhere, would it be any better?
