How long after employment tribunal does it take to receive written result?

My ex employer was insolvent and made over 100+ of us redundant without going through the correct process.
A large number of us applied for Protectice Awaed, 80% did it through a no win no fee solicitor, but the other 20% of us did it through Acas, but we were all grouped together for the court hearing.

We know we won the case as those with legal representation were notified and told the rest of us. This was over 3 weeks ago and I’m still waiting for the letter in the post - anyone know how long it’ll take?

What exactly did you win if the business has no money ?

Protective award as my post says. Paid by the insolvency service as the company was liquidated. So do you know how long?

I’ve been waiting five months for written reasons on one case.

Took 9 months to even get a case management hearing on another. And still waiting, 5 months later, for the claim that’s been issued to actually be submitted to my client. 3 months waiting on an application decision in another case...

Years ago these were all 2 week turnarounds. Now the system is broken, overloaded and can’t cope, and you might get a judgment within weeks, but it’s more likely to take months. Some ETs are faster than others but generally speaking it is taking a very long time for any movement at the moment…

Telephone the tribunal office abd ask - have the case reference to hand. Good luck.

Aren’t the employment tribunals published online? I’d have a wee search…
