Did your little one enjoy nursery?

I have two kids, one is 1.5 years old and one is 2.5 yrs old.
I am looking to go back to work 2 days a week and so want to put them in nursery.
It will be around £200 a month with the funded hours.

I am just really worried about them getting used to it as I’ve been a SAHM since having the elder child.

Me and DH do really need the money though.
Any reassurances that your little ones thrived in nursery?

Well mine did, they both started at age 1 though so were used to it from a slightly younger age.

I used to come and pick my daughter up and she wouldn't want to come home with me Grin I'd say "DD'sName, we're going now! Bye!" and make as if to leave without her and she'd just say "Byeeeeeee!" and carry on playing 🤣

My boy was always a bit clingier and sometimes cried a little in the morning drop off but was quickly pacified and then enjoyed himself all day.

They did messy play, French, yoga, football, baking, all sorts!
