Admin/receptionist in GP practice vs Hospital

I've been in my job for 6 months and I'm so bored. I work on a very quiet reception desk checking in the occasional patient and doing some admin tasks. It's extremely boring. I've been looking at other jobs and been offered one in a GP practice.. but feel bad about leaving my role after only six months.. anyone worked in both GP and hospital for pros and cons?

Well you definitely won't be bored in a GP practice.

When I was looking at NHS jobs, I found that GPs pay less and offer less annual leave than hospital trusts . They're run as private businesses so don't adhere to Agenda for Change pay scales and benefits.

I haven't worked in a hospital but do work in a GP reception. You won't get bored that's for sure, the days fly by and it always feels like its Friday again.
The pay and holiday is shit though.
Don't feel bad about leaving your job, if you dropped down tomorrow they wouldn't hesitate in replacing you - do what's right for you.
