Can someone help me figuring this out?

So just got a job offer… it’s at my dd’s school. Hours would be 24 and the pay is 12.50 per hour. How do I calculate how much I’m getting if I spread the pay out to 12 months rather than term time only?

39 weeks of school, so at £300 per week you’ll get £11,700 per year or £975 a month.

So working 39 weeks per year?

24hrs x 39 weeks x £12.50 ph= £11,700

£11,700 / 12 = £975 per month.

I would (and it is a rough estimate) do 12.5x24x39 (based on 13 week holidays) and then divide it by 12 which gives £975 and annual £11700

but I would allow a £25 buffer

makes sense when I did it my 10 hour a week job was roughly £450 a month
