To look for a new job or stick with current one?

I am hoping to retire in 5 years when I am 57; either fully retire or work a couple of days per week.

I have been working for a very large organisation for less than 5 years and thought I would stay there until retirement; perhaps push for promotion; however things have changed in my team and I am not sure promotion is an option anymore. I don’t feel 100 percent happy anymore.

I also work with very young ambitious people; majority who are very nice. A very professional environment; client facing role which at times causes me stress. Very corporate organisation. I have some good perks.

I keep looking at jobs, but concern about starting a new job and all that entitles. I also keep looking at pension bee calculator. I can’t make my mind up. Should I stay or should I go?

Does it impact your saving to retire? I.e. would you be paid a lot more or less or would you be swapping for more or less security? If it doesn't, just go for what makes you happy.

Thanks at the moment my company pays about 9 percent pension, as I am contributing 36 percent. Neglected my pension for a long. do trying to increase now. The other perk I like is being able to buy 2 weeks annual leave.

I would be looking at better salary though

How old are your children and do they intend to go to uni?

If you can make one more move into a better salary then go for it.
