Big restructure in my team, several conversations about a promotion for me, but nothing written down. Meeting with boss where they confirmed a very small payrise for the promotion but the job profile was not ready to be shared. Boss knew I’d be disappointed and I was.
A few weeks later, I received job profile which revealed an huge increase in responsibilities, not commensurate with the payrise. On the same day it was announced by executive that I’d been promoted (ie it was a done deal). I have not signed the contract and I’ve told my boss that I’m not happy with either the salary or what’s occurred. What are the likely next steps?
