Working full time mum - struggling

Hello, looking for some advice as I’m really struggling. I currently work full time in London and have two young children - 6 and 4. My father recently passed away after being ill for some time and I’m now trying to sort out mums life. They were big hoarders - house is a mess and not very clean. She’s also now on benefits. She’s also not thinking straight, keeps getting scammed, giving people money etc. She’s currently staying with us but we are hoping moving her back soon once the house is ready. Every weekend I’m there, I hardly see my kids between going there and working. It’s really upsetting.

With all this additional stress I’m really struggling, I keep making mistakes at work and they are starting to notice - I made a big one recently.

I just feel trapped, I can’t quit my job as financially need to work, but mentally I’m at breaking point and actually scared to think how I’m going to manage going forward.

so sorry for your loss OP. I have been through similar
Just know it’s temporary. Your bereavement is very recent and right kow there is a lot to do and family life has to go on hold. It will come abck later. Sadly there is so much admin when someone dies but once it’s done you can move forwards. The kids will survive and one day you will have more time. Right now you have these priorities. Don’t feel guilty.
and take care of yourself.
