I'm not sure I like my new job~!

Title says it all really. Worked within the NHS for 14 years in the same role. Very high turnover of staff during my time due to poor management and I felt undervalued and taken for granted. Things came to a head at Xmas when not one of my managers (think GP practice) wished me a Happy Xmas - nothing!
Fast forward to new role within education and admin role and I feel like I know nothing. This is my third week and I have been on 2 training courses which were hard. I am still not let loose on much due to not completing all the necessary training but I am pining for the security of my old job. I'm worried the role won't be busy enough and I will never learn the systems (I am 57).
Any wise words about whether I should ask for my old job back or plough on!

@Whathappen when you put it like that! I think its a security blanket thing and high anxiety on my part. Good advice though.
