Career change for nurses

Hi!

I have been working as a nurse for the past 9 years. I had my first child almost 2 years ago and am currently pregnant with my second. I have been considering a total career change after my second child is born but im at a bit of a loss as to what avenues to consider....

I feel healthcare and nursing is so specific but also must have a lot of transferable skills? Has anyone made a career change from nursing and if so what do you do now?

TIA x

I work as a celebrant - it's got lots of the skills that nursing has (empathy, dealing with people in heightened emotional states, good organisation etc). It's a self-employed role so works around kids/life etc. I now train other celebrants with www.matchanddispatch.com lots of nurses I've trained have successfully moved over to this role.
