How much would you need to be paid to take voluntary exit?

I am being offered VE from my public sector job. Payout would be around 6 mths salary which is about £25k. Tax free though so worth slightly more that 6 mths in take home pay. I have decided not to take it, tempted but I am worried about not getting another job in 6mths and the stress it would cause.
If it was over 1 year pay I think I'd take it though, but some colleagues on almost 2 years payout are declining. So it got me thinking how much would others need to be paid?

It would depend how easy it is to get another job in your sector/area. For me, it would be relatively easy at the moment so I would probably take the 6 months tax free pay. If it would be difficult though I’d want over a year.
