For context I work in an office/warehouse/stock control

I work every weekend 6am-6pm both Saturday and Sunday and then 2 8 hours days during the week.
For this I get paid well. Well as good as it can be

Anyway an opportunity to work Monday to Friday has come up and it's a pay cut do I take it.

The problems I have.
The people at the weekend shift are fantastic can't ask for a better bunch. During the week I can't stand a good 85% of them 😂 but working the weekend means I miss out on a lot of things my friends and family get up to.

It's like I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place

Do I give up working with nice people for more of a balanced life or do I get more of a balanced life and spend my day with idiots?

Help me

Sorry if this offends anyone but I truly do believe the staff during the week were sent from Alcatraz.

It depends what difference the pay cut will make financially, but I would do it in a heartbeat. I can’t imagine never having a weekend off to spend with my friends/family.

Do you have a partner or children?

Financially it doesn't matter I know money isn't everything. I think your right with what your saying. I just have to remember I'm not at work to make friends.

I think stick with the better paid job working with the nicer people

What hours does your partner work?

Personally I'd stay as you are.

Without children, personally I'd take the extra money assuming you do get some days off with your partner; if you never got a day off with your partner I would change my answer and take the alternative x
