Is the break worth having a 2 month break on CV?

I currently work in a school, specifically with a group of lovely students but who have massive behavioural challenges. It can be draining. I've got a job that isn't going to start for another 3 months so will be leaving the school.

I had a career break when DC were little and have been back in work for 5 years. I'd like to have 2 months break just to 'reset' after the stress of my current job and get my life more in order (my new job is a much higher salary).

I recently have had a very tough interview (for another role) where I was asked 5 or 6 questions about my gap when I had children (this was from one panel member only). It felt pretty horrible and frankly they were ignoring my answers about the gap/ what I did to keep in touch with the industry.

Is it worth having a 2 month gap? I'm worried it will make me look flaky!

A 2-month break is nothing - I say go for it!

Youve already definitely got the new job? Not a problem at all - I see it now and then and I'm just slightly envious they can afford it, but would do it myself if I could (work in HR).
