When is it acceptable to chase?

I had a second interview yesterday morning and I felt like it went well. They said they'd make a quick decision and I know I'm down to final two.

The issue I have is that I have two other recruiters wanting to set up interviews for other jobs. I really want the one I've already interviewed for but I don't want to miss out on other opportunities in case I'm not successful. When would it be acceptable to give the recruiter a quick call to find out when they might have made a decision? (I'm out of work at the moment and can't afford to miss any opportunity).

(I bloody hate waiting on the outcome of interviews!!!)

I wouldn't unless several days had passed without hearing. Accept the other interviews and you can cancel if you get the job you are waiting for.

I wouldn’t. Just set up the other interviews.

Get the other interviews set up.

You set up the other interviews and go to them if you haven't heard. If you are offered a job from one of the other places and still haven't heard, then you chase.

Set up the other interviews, its easy enough to cancel if you have to. I might ring tomorrow rather than wait out the weekend, what's the worst they can say? And at least it shows you are enthusiastic, if they are hesitating it might even tip things in your favour.

Yeah I might ring tomorrow.
