Anyone else utterly shocked, devastated and seriously concerned about their job right now?

Hand hold!

I'm not, but I'm very sorry for those who work in this field. And even more sorry for those very vulnerable people who will lose support and investment as a result of this decision.

I absolutely agree with the extra defence funding and understand why it was politically expedient to take the money from international aid, but I really wish they had just increased taxes instead.

Quite apart from the impact on some of the world's most vulnerable people, cutting the aid budget won't serve the UK's own interests in the longer term.
