UK celebrity restaurant press launch

What in god’s name do I wear?! I don’t even know what a press launch is….! It starts at 8pm if that helps at all and zero indication of dress code. Will the others there be journalists and therefore in work attire? Is this a heels kinda vibe? Dress?! What oh what. Please help me!!! It’s this bloody week!!

I’d wear whatever I was wearing for a posh dinner there! Wide black trousers. Silk shirt. Heels or upmarket trainers, whichever you’re comfy in. Nice jewellery/accessories.

Maybe have a Google at Hello magazine or similar and see what restaurant openings they’ve covered?

Cant believe they don’t give a dress code on the invite though! Surely everyone wants to know!
