Excruciating bladder pain - help me find a job!

I have interstitial cystitis. Well, at least I think I do. I've tried nearly everything (cystoscopies, instillations, acupuncture, homeopathy, long term antibiotics, pelvic floor therapy, diet.. you name it!) but unfortunately I still suffer with extreme urethral and bladder pain which can flare for months and come out if the blue.

I have two young children and a husband who works in finance. He earns a decent salary but we live in central London and money is still tight.

I used to be a teacher... I can't do that job any more, mainly due to me needing flexibility ( close proximity to a loo/pain meds etc/ sitting in a comfy position in joggers etc) so I really need something 100% remote...it's a non negotiable. I have some admin skills but not a lot. I would be happy earning £1k a month or less but I couldn't really commit to more than 20 hrs a week ( have a one year old who will only be doing 8 hrs of nursery a week).

I'm extremely friendly, have a degree.. what could I do? I am also happy to do a short course(s) to boost my skill set. I'm not very good with numerical stuff I have to admit.

Can you help a girl out? Really struggling with my confidence etc since having this condition.

Thanks so much!

Varuna bark.
D-Mannose.
Cranberry tablets high concentration.
Kidney cleanse.

That's what I got for my mother in law and she rarely has no bladder discomfort or pain anymore.
I did a lot of research for her and this assortment works.

This is the D Mannose -

Kidney cleanse is out of stock at the moment -

Cranberry tablets -

I got her the Varuna bark tablets from eBay.

She has been in a lot of pain and nothing was found to be wrong so I researched for her and now she is pain free.

Re the online tutoring. Find clients worldwide who are awake and ready to study during the hours you can work. Try a few of the agencies. With teaching qualifications, you should be in demand!

@diyisnotmyforte I'm sorry you have such a horrible condition, I feel for you.

As you're a teacher I'd be looking at the online private schools... Kings Interhigh, Minerva etc. Good luck.

I really feel for you. I had a hellish time with all this in my twenties and I couldn’t teach properly. I changed to supply teaching.

It calmed down when I didn’t have my period- pregnancy and breast feeding- but has come back with peri. I’m back at the urogynae. It’s really depressing.

What supplements do you take?

I still work in a school but not as a class teacher. I do a part time support role I can just pop out to go to the bathroom as needed.
