Hi all,

I currently work in care but I hate the way my colleague especially management make me feel. Its a very depressing role. I've chosen to find a new job.

The only problem is I have no one to help with childcare via the holidays. Childcare is expensive. I'm struggling to find a job that fits around my daughter

What do other parents do? Her dad, my husband is up really early so can't take out daughter to school or pick up.

Thanks

Desperate and depressed mum

For us in the holidays it's lots of holiday clubs and very carefully planned annual leave. Yes holiday childcare is expensive but if you plan it out and spread the costs over the year it's not too bad?
And if you/your husband take annual leave separately (which sucks but is much more cost efficient!) then it's only a few weeks to cover.
