Council application advice?

For online council applications, should I list each exam result (gcse/a) separately?

It says I can write them together, but I'm worried automated HR might bounce me out

I work for our LA. I've never listed my O level results . I always say "9 O levels at Grades A - C including English and Maths "

However, I've got a Masters degree so that's the bit they're interested in. If my highest qualifications were GCSEs then I might list them all. The important thing is that you've got English and Maths.

Good luck with the application. And if you get an interview, practice STAR technique

Thank you. I have post grad etc but was wondering. I've heard a lot of talk about STAR but not sure about what it is?

Star = situation, task, action and result.

So they ask the question "give us an example of when you worked out of your comfort zone"

You answer When I was the junior pig at little pig farm we realised that there was a risk of being eaten by a wolf. To prevent this it was necessary to scare the wolf off. I realised very early on that the traditional technique of allowing distruction of the weakest pigs abodes was not a good long term strategy as it put greater risk on the more junior piggies. I came up with the plan of lulling the wolf into thinking he was successful by running around in a little piggy way to the next largest pugs house. I got the others to do the same, each time we ran to the next largest house. This gave the biggest pig time to reinforce his house and boil the cats if oil. When the wolf came to the largest pugs house he was fried in boiling oil. The result is that little piggy farm has never had a wolf with halitosis problem again.
